The masked bandit

The masked bandit
Here he comes to save the day
a creeping avenger is here to play
with an arrow and a bow

He's the hero to know
with a smile and a grin
that reminds you of your kin
He's sly and fly
always ready to die

In his hand a sound of wind
on a horse a galloping fear
seaping in a Casper's Inn
a blockade would be cardinal sin

The masked bandit is here today
no name no face all but a shadow
surrounds this place
Sleepy Hollow could not win this race

With sounds of clawing agony
he pierces the blue bright sky
and the moon that turns
to become his twin

Oh sunlight come save the hour
from the hands of the masked bandit
lapsed in spring showers
Here he comes to save the day

The masked bandit here he stays
like children at a park
the bandit strives to play
to a tune filled with gloom

Like a wicked witch rides a broom
the masked bandit has over stayed
overjoyed and now overplayed
where will he go? Will Morph the Cat save the day?

This is the question we all wanna know
the masked bandit no longer feeds us fear
but lost hope and breeds it clear
with an office and a seal

He's the man of the hour
fate has sealed the deal
like road rage and overkill
laying not turning sour
Remember only he is the man of the hour
