The BBD

There was once a hall monitor
Who was often called the BBD
He was infamous among many students
As he gave detentions for no reason

What did you ask?
Yes I did encounter the BBD
In fact it wasn’t pleasant indeed
It all began my sophomore year

I happened to be in the hall
Waiting to go home in my dad’s car
Tired of waiting I had opened my mouth
For a yarn

But out of the mouth of another student
Came a phrase that summoned the BBD
Suddenly a cool damning mist filled the hall
And out of the door leading to the basement
Leaped the BBP

Boy I tell you I’ve never seen anyone leap so swiftly
Within seconds he had grasped my arm
With the strength of a man trying to strangle a bear
By then my expression had said it all

I regret being down that hall
Trembling with fear
Deeply deprived of my cheer
I let out a shrieking gasp

That’s when a voice
As the sound of death itself
Proceeded out the mouth of
This vile being spewing evil accusations against me

Till this day I have no clue what the creature meant
Though he seemed badly disturbed
However he did live up to the rumor of being
A rude hall monitor second to none

A pointless servant getting paid
To slaughter the academic integrity
Of all students younger than he
“Detention!" he yelled

“It wasn’t me" I quelled
“You liar” he stated
“I’m an innocent man” I debated
“It was someone other than me”
“Alright, I’ll let you go this time”
But before I do, I’ll leave you with one last line
“Don’t mess with me cause I’m the BBD!”

Till this day I’ll never walk that school hall
For there may be some naïve student
Not knowing any better that may sound the call
Of the BBD next time I stroll down that hall

Keep your eyes on the sky

Keep your eyes on the sky
Heavens the limit
the spoils the prize
Don’t look down

Or you may lose your crown
You’re a champ in and out
Don’t worry about the crowd
Nor their noisy sound

Haters watch from the sidelines
Wishing you’d be dead
Cause they’re vision own is dead
They dreamed dreams that never were

You ascent burns their heart with envy
So they plot and glean
Watching at all hours
desiring your sheen

But see you’re so high
A reflection of the sun in the sky
So they try to belittle you
But don’t look down

Lest you dare wish to see
How small they really are
The problem is they can never be you
So they dream of defeating you

By mistreating you
They’d hoped to put a retreat in you
Not realizing the champ buried beneath the sand
They try to make you out as nothing

Though nothing they really are
All they have is an ego that lies
Full of false pride
a vanity so thin it breaks with the wind

But keep your eyes on the sky
Heavens the limit
the spoils the prize
Don’t look down

Know your ascent is full of
perfection and grace
with a twinkle in your eye
keep smiling enjoy your spoil
as they curse you from the depths of the soil

Mr. Sewer

There once was an apartment made for three
But then came Mr. Sewer who said “I'll join thee”
A new tenant of theirs he became
No rent he paid and so he stayed

For he'd rather not be a bum
Even though the three preferred he become one
He was loud and obnoxious
He greeted his friends as soon as they came in

He spoiled their appetites trying to be polite
with his presence he graced them and embraced them
But they only grew madder
And he only became sadder

So one night one of the three conspired to get rid of him
A few contacts were made and a the promise was gave
On the day Mr. Sewer had gotten his eviction notice
he decide he wouldn't notice the rules that
were stated about his confinements that was made in it

So he thought of something new
"Why don't I start my own crew"
The day came when Mr. Sewer would bring many more
His family to them he gave each a set of keys
as he'd tell them "you'll never have to leave"

One day one of the three came home at almost
an hour liken to three only to be greeted by Mr. Sewer and his clan
Ambushed the man wished he had a fan

Now he stood in the midst of a circle of donkeys confused
and confused everywhere he turned his face met the scent
But Mr. Sewer professed he's heaven sent
The man grew as he almost gagged

Mr. Sewer must go he nagged and nagged
this time the man is determined to rid of this hermit
He is a travesty to the human face
No man should ever have keep him in his place

Mr. Sewer a home
Whenever he freely roams
Outside their homes
